The short version
- We don't collect your personal information through the game. There's no account, login or sign-up, and we don't run any server that receives game data. The Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the game does collect some data from your device and share it with Google for ads (see section 4).
- Your scores, coins and settings are saved on your device. The game never sends them to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the game deletes them from your device, although your device's own backup, if you've turned it on, may keep a copy.
- Ads come from Google AdMob. Google may collect things like your device's advertising ID and IP address to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud.
- You're asked first. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you'll see Google's consent message before any ads are requested. On iPhone and iPad you'll be asked whether to allow tracking.
- No in-app purchases. Coins are virtual. They can't be bought and have no real-money value.
- You're in control. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings. If you're in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you can also change your consent at any time from Settings > Ad Privacy Options in the game.

1. Who we are
Dice Merge Master (“the game”) is a casual dice-merge puzzle game for Android, with an iOS version to follow. It is made and published by Seep Royale (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Seep Royale is the data controller for the game, which means we're responsible for how personal information is handled in connection with it. Google acts as an independent controller for the data it processes through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (see section 4).
This policy explains what information is and isn't involved when you play, who handles it, and what choices you have. It covers the game and this website (see section 13). Google, the app stores and any other websites the game links to have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we do not collect
We built the game so that we don't need any of your personal information. There is no account, login or sign-up, no cloud save, no chat and no leaderboard, and we don't operate any server that receives game data. The game can be played without an internet connection.
The one exception is advertising. The game itself doesn't collect or store personal information on any server of ours, but the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the game collects some data from your device and shares it with Google, as explained in section 4.
Apart from that, we do not collect:
- your name, email address, phone number or any other contact details, unless you choose to email us (see below);
- your location. The game doesn't ask for location permission, although Google may estimate your general location from your IP address (see section 4);
- your contacts, photos, videos, files or anything else stored on your device;
- anything from your camera or microphone;
- payment details. The game has no in-app purchases;
- analytics or usage tracking inside the game, other than the diagnostic and ad-interaction data the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects for Google (section 4). The game includes no analytics or crash-reporting tools of its own, and although it's built with the Unity engine, it doesn't use Unity Analytics or any other Unity online service;
- your scores, coins or progress. The game never sends these to us (see section 3).
Device permissions
On Android, the game declares the permissions listed below. All of them are added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK so that ads can be requested, shown and measured; the game itself needs none of them for gameplay. None of them shows a permission prompt.
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Lets the Google Mobile Ads SDK request and display ads. |
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Lets the ads SDK check whether a network connection is available. |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID | Declared by the Google Mobile Ads SDK so that Google can read your device's advertising ID, subject to your settings (see section 5). |
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS | Let the ads SDK use Android's Privacy Sandbox advertising features (ad ID, ad measurement and Topics), where your device supports them and subject to your device's ad privacy settings. |
WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE | Used by the ads SDK's background-task library to finish short tasks, such as sending ad measurement data, reliably. |
The game does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or storage permissions.
If you email us
If you choose to contact us, we'll receive your email address and whatever you write, through our email provider. We use it only to reply to you.
3. Information stored on your device
To remember your progress and preferences, the game saves a small amount of data in its own storage area on your device, using Unity's standard local storage (PlayerPrefs):
| What's saved | Why |
|---|---|
| Best score | To show your high score. |
| Coin balance | To keep the coins you've earned. Coins are virtual: they have no real-money value and can't be bought, sold or cashed out. |
| Sound on/off and music on/off | To remember your audio settings. |
| Daily reward: date last claimed and current streak day | To work out when your next daily reward is ready and which streak day you're on. |
| Number of games played | To keep count of how many games you've played. |
The game doesn't send this data to us or to anyone else, and we can't see it. It's deleted from your device when you uninstall the game or clear its data.
If your device's own backup is turned on (for example Android backup to your Google Account, or iCloud or computer backup on iPhone and iPad), your device may include this data in that backup and restore it later, for example when you reinstall the game or set up a new device. That backup is controlled by you and by Google or Apple, not by us.
Because the game has no cloud save of its own, we can't recover this data for you if it's lost, and we can't move it to a new device for you. Your device's own backup or transfer tools may be able to.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and is supported by ads from Google AdMob, delivered through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. It shows two kinds of ad:
- Rewarded ads are always optional. You choose whether to watch one in return for an Undo, a Shuffle or Double Coins.
- Interstitial ads are full-screen ads shown after every third game.
What Google may collect
Google, as an independent third party, may collect and process the following from your device through the Google Mobile Ads SDK when ads are requested or shown:
- your device's advertising identifier: the Android Advertising ID, or on iOS the IDFA, which is used only if you allow tracking through App Tracking Transparency;
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location;
- your device model, operating system version and language;
- information about the app the ad appears in;
- ad interaction and performance data, for example whether an ad was shown or tapped;
- diagnostic information.
To do this, the Google Mobile Ads SDK reads information from your device, such as the advertising ID, and the SDK and Google's consent tool may store information on your device, such as your consent choice (see section 6).
Why Google uses it
- to deliver ads and limit how often you see the same ad (frequency capping);
- to measure how ads perform;
- to detect and prevent fraud and spam;
- to show personalised ads, where the law permits it and you've given any consent that's required.
Google handles this data under its own policies. We don't receive or store it ourselves. To learn more:
5. Limiting ad personalisation and your advertising ID
You can limit how your advertising ID is used, or remove it, at any time. You'll still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you. These settings affect the advertising ID only: Google may still collect the other information listed in section 4, such as your IP address and device details, to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud.
Outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the game doesn't show Google's consent message or the Ad Privacy Options button, so these device settings are how you control the use of your advertising ID.
Android
Open Settings > Google > Ads. On some devices it's under Settings > Privacy > Ads. From there you can:
- Delete advertising ID, which removes the ID so apps can no longer use it. This stops it being used for personalised ads, but it doesn't stop all data collection by the ads SDK;
- Reset advertising ID, which replaces it with a new random ID that isn't linked to the old one;
- on older Android versions, turn on Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Menu names can vary a little between phone makers and Android versions.
iPhone and iPad
Before the IDFA is used, iOS will ask whether you allow the game to track you (App Tracking Transparency). Choose Ask App Not to Track to say no. You can change your mind at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, either for Dice Merge Master alone or for all apps by turning off Allow Apps to Request to Track.
6. Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent message (the Google User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested. It explains how your data would be used for ads and lets you make your choice. Google's consent tool remembers your choice on your device so it doesn't have to ask every time.
You can review or change your choice at any time from Settings > Ad Privacy Options in the game. This button appears in Settings wherever Google's consent tool says a privacy choice must be offered, which in practice means the EEA, UK and Switzerland.
If you don't give consent, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads, as described in its own policies.
7. Children
Dice Merge Master is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. The game itself gives players no way to send us personal information (other than by emailing us), and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please note that the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects the device information described in section 4, including identifiers such as the advertising ID, from any player's device when ads are requested or shown, whatever the player's age.
In the EEA and UK, if you're under the age at which you can consent to online services yourself (between 13 and 16, depending on the country), please don't agree to personalised ads in Google's consent message without a parent or guardian's permission. In India, where anyone under 18 counts as a child, a parent or guardian can limit ad personalisation using the device settings in section 5.
If we learn that a child under 13 has given us personal information, for example by emailing us, we will delete it. If you're a parent or guardian and think this has happened, please contact us at support@seeproyale.com.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, the law gives you rights over your personal information. Apart from emails you choose to send us, we don't collect or hold any personal information about you, so in practice these rights mostly concern the ad data that Google handles, or the game data on your own device, which you control directly.
EEA and UK (GDPR and UK GDPR)
Seep Royale is the data controller for the game, and Google acts as an independent controller for the data it processes through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (see section 1).
Legal bases. The legal bases for processing are:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), for personalised ads and, where consent is required under the ePrivacy rules (in the UK, PECR), for storing or reading information on your device for ads. Consent is collected through Google's consent message, and you can withdraw it at any time from Settings > Ad Privacy Options;
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), in keeping the game free by showing ads: for showing non-personalised or limited ads, measuring ads and preventing fraud where consent isn't required, and for replying to emails you send us;
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)), for anything we have to keep to meet our legal duties.
You have the right to be informed (which is what this policy is for), and to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country. In these regions, personalised ads are shown only if you consent, and you can withdraw consent from Settings > Ad Privacy Options.
California and other US states
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) and similar laws in other US states, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it's used, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights.
The ads in the game may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information. The game is funded by ads, and it lets Google collect data such as your advertising ID and IP address through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Under California and other US state privacy laws, this may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including for cross-context behavioural advertising. To limit it, you can delete or reset your advertising ID, or turn on ad-personalisation opt-out, on Android, or not allow tracking on iOS (see section 5).
Details of the personal information involved:
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Categories | Identifiers (advertising ID, IP address); device information (model, operating system version, language); internet or network activity (ad interaction and performance data, diagnostics); general location estimated from your IP address. If you email us: your email address and message. |
| Sources | Your device, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Emails come from you. |
| Purposes | Ad data: delivering ads and frequency capping, measuring ads, preventing fraud and spam, and personalised ads where permitted. Emails: replying to you. |
| Disclosed to | Ad data: Google, which collects it through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Emails: our email provider. |
| Retention | Ad data: kept by Google for the periods in its Privacy Policy. Emails: see section 10. |
We do not collect sensitive personal information.
To make a request, email support@seeproyale.com. You can make it yourself or through an authorised agent. We may ask for information needed to confirm the request, or the agent's authority to act for you, and we'll use it only for that.
India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)
As a Data Principal, you have the right to get information about your personal data and how it's processed, to have it corrected, completed, updated or erased, to withdraw consent where processing is based on it, to have your grievances addressed, and to nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to. The game doesn't show a separate consent message in India. To stop your advertising ID being used for personalised ads, delete or reset it, or turn on ad-personalisation opt-out, in your device settings (see section 5). You can raise any grievance with us at support@seeproyale.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
9. How to exercise your rights
- Game data on your device: you're already in control of it. To delete it from your device, uninstall the game or clear its data. On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Dice Merge Master > Storage and choose Clear storage (names vary by device). On iOS, deleting the app removes its data from the device. If your device's own backup is turned on, a copy may also be in that backup, which you manage through your Google or Apple backup settings (see section 3).
- Ad data held by Google: we don't hold this data, so we can't access, correct or delete it for you. Use your device's ad settings (section 5), Settings > Ad Privacy Options in the game if you're in the EEA, UK or Switzerland (section 6), and the tools described in the Google Privacy Policy, where you can also contact Google directly.
- Anything else: email support@seeproyale.com. We'll reply within the time limits set by the law that applies to you. Since we don't hold personal data about players, apart from emails they send us, we'll usually be confirming that and pointing you to the right place, but we're glad to help.
10. Data retention
- We keep no player data on any server, so apart from emails (see below) there's nothing for us to retain.
- Game data on your device stays there until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Any copy in your device's own backup is kept according to your Google or Apple backup settings.
- Google keeps ad data for the periods described in its Privacy Policy.
- If you email us, we keep the conversation only for as long as we need it to deal with your message.
11. Security
Because the game doesn't send your data to us, there's no database of player information on our side that could be breached. Game data is kept in the game's own storage area on your device, which other apps normally can't access. Keeping your device updated and using a screen lock helps keep it safe.
Google describes how it protects the data it collects in its Privacy Policy. No method of storing or transmitting data is completely secure, but keeping data on your device and off our servers keeps the risk low.
12. International transfers
The game doesn't send your personal data to us, so we don't transfer it anywhere. If you email us, your message is handled by our email provider and may be stored or processed outside your country. Google may process the ad data described in section 4 outside your country, including in countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. Google explains the safeguards it uses for these transfers in its Privacy Policy.
13. This website and links to other services
This website
When you open this page or the Dice Merge Master home page, your browser sends the web server that hosts them technical information such as your IP address, your browser type and the page requested. The server needs this to deliver the page. These pages don't use analytics or tracking scripts, and they don't set cookies themselves. Neither page loads anything (fonts, scripts or images) from other companies.
Links in the game
A few things in the game take you outside it:
- Rate Us opens the game's page on Google Play or the App Store.
- Privacy Policy opens this page in your web browser.
- Tapping an ad may take you to an advertiser's website or app store page.
Those services have their own privacy policies, which we don't control, so please check them.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if the game's features or the law change. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. If we ever make a change that affects how your information is handled, such as adding a feature that sends data to us, we'll update this policy before that change takes effect.
15. Contact us
